New pub entry for me - although I was here on 21 April 1982 for my wedding anniversary. It doesn’t appear to have changed much.
Sunday lunchtime cycle group meet. Nicely busy. Well kept beers, but not very adventurous.

| Black Sheep - Best Bitter | 3.80 | | |

A wet and windy afternoon. Once upon a time I lived around this way. It was nice to be back. The pub was much the same as when Sheps had it. Seemed friendly.
| Moorhouse's - Blond Witch | 4.40 | | Good condition. Creamy and hoppy beer with a nice rich soapy mouth feel. |
| Sharp's - Doom Bar | 4.00 | Not Tried | |
28 Jun 2005 (Andrew)
We cycled here with a thunderstorm straight ahead of us. The pub was empty except for the staff. It was friendly as always and a short lived power cut caused by the storm made it even more enjoyable.
| Shepherd Neame - Goldings (superseded by 4.1% version) | 4.70 | | A sweet slightly rose hip initial taste followed by a resinous bitterness after the swallow. |
| Shepherd Neame - Best Bitter | 4.10 | Not Tried | |
| Shepherd Neame - Master Brew Bitter | 3.70 | Not Tried | |
20 Nov 2004 (Andrew)
It was a very cold night but the pub had a real (effect) fire and was very cosy

| Shepherd Neame - Best Bitter | 4.10 | Not Tried | |
| Shepherd Neame - Master Brew Bitter | 3.70 | Not Tried | |
