Mid-evening. Busy with eaters and some drinkers but not crowded. Log fire on the go in the bar area. We sat by the other inglenook fireplace that used to house a round pool table.

Late Sunday afternoon. Many drinkers outside in the s on the substantial benches. We sat inside and watched a procession of customers being served through the window. A few late Sunday lunches being consumed inside. Nice, busy feel to the pub. Beer festival here bank holiday weekend.

Our traditional stop on the way back from Wimbledon - need a real ale after that Pimms stuff. Late Wed evening - a good few in - some diners - some drinkers a little the worse for wear! Beer and cider festival here this weekend.

use to a nice pub but new owners now they the two doves and two others in canterbury no beer choice now just kent beers and a london bride

Mid evening - quite busy - looks like new owners have introduced evening meals - apart from that the pub has kept its traditional pub look and feel - with not much else changed including a good choice of ales - and their annual beer festival later this month.

This pub is off the main road at the top of Charing Hill in Egg Hill Road. Probably a good idea to use the OS grid reference to find it, if you haven't been before. Friendly, busy pub on the junction of several country lanes. Always popular. Holds a regular summer beer festival that has around 30 beers.
