I had been away in the Caribbean for over a week and was in desperate need of a decent pint. I wasn’t disappointed.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Adnams - Tally-Ho7.00ExcellentAn absolutely delightful ale belying it’s strength.
Oakham - Citra4.20Good
Old Dairy (being contract brewed after it closed) - Copper Top4.10Not TriedOn the board simply as “Cu Top” - I think Martyn delights in making life difficult for the occasional drinker (there were no brewery names on the blackboard either).

Evening visit from minutes after opening. All seemed at peace here with massive gas main replacement works closing the side road and added roadworks traffic lights, plus a mandatory burst water main then some early doors customers wielding mobile phones. Usual argumentative banter seemed so very tame after all of that action.
