Mid afternoon - sat outside in the sun and watched the moored boats bobbing on the spring tide. A few others relaxing in similar style.

Whitstable - Oyster Stout | 4.50 | Not Tried
Four Candles - New Zealand Rye Pale | 4.50 | Not Tried | Not sure I got the ABV correct on this? |

17 Oct 2017 (Magnus Greel)
Mid evening and fairly quiet. This place seems to attract the more younger ale drinker I've found - including myself of course.
Four Candles - Citra Pilsner | 4.70 | | Superb, crisp refreshing and zesty. Best beer this evening. |
Kent - Cobnut | 4.10 | Not Tried
Ripple Steam - Farmhouse Pale Ale | 4.20 | Not Tried
31 Jul 2017 (Magnus Greel)
1900hrs just after and busy inside and out with folk enjoying the sunshine. We sat in the extended bar area.

Kent - Black Gold | 4.00 | Not Tried
Ripple Steam - Farmhouse Pale Ale | 4.20 | Not Tried
27 Jul 2017 (Dosser)
Few in on a blustery evening. Terrible smell from harbour. 2 beers on. Camra discount given.
Isla Vale Alesmiths - Natural Blonde | 4.70 | | Top quality beer. Served at the right temperature and went down a treat. |
11 Jul 2017 (Jack William)
Just after noon - first stop after a 23 mile cycle from Canterbury. A few customers all outside. Margate fairly quiet for a nice Summer's day.
Bit disappointed in the negative signs here "do NOT lean your bike here"; "mobile phone charging costs 50p here"; and even "Skylarging" for "Skylarking" with no brewery listed - bit off putting - but very nice location.
Isla Vale Alesmiths - Cock a Snook | 4.50 | | Peachy |
Pig & Porter - Skylarking | 4.00 | | Rather cloudy but a lovely light citrus flavour. |
03 Jun 2017 (Andrew)
Pub number 1. Very busy but then the sun was out. Managed to get a table inside.
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - No. 5 | 4.40 | | Really very good |
Mad Cat - Platinum Blonde Ale (previously Meaney's Platinum Blonde Ale) | 4.20 | Not Tried
Angels & Demons (now uses McCanns branding not its own) - Panama Jazz | 4.80 | Not Tried
15 Jan 2017 (Dosser)
Prices up to £3.50 for 2 of the beers but a 10% camra discount.
Wantsum - Ravening Wolf | 5.90 | | Rather lifeless |
20 Nov 2016 (Stephen Harris)
I was wondering whether the old memory was beginning to fail me when I walked in here; until I read the bit on this website that says the bar has moved into bigger premises next door to where they were last time I visited. Human customers just about outnumbered the canine ones.
G2 - Orion | 3.80 | | An amber-coloured, malty Bitter. |
Bays - Autumn Ale | 4.40 | Not Tried
G2 - Sail | 4.20 | Not Tried | |
North Blyth - For a Few Dollars More | 4.10 | Not Tried
