15:00 visit. Hotfoot from Kempton Park, dived in here. Very busy with diners/family types so sat outside, and with perfect timing, a steam train on a charter had just arrived, which is always very atmospheric at this time of the year. A surprisingly good ale range on too.

03 Nov 2012 (Martin the Mildman)
Busy with passing rail travellers. Has got rather expensive of late.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Black Wolf (formerly Traditional Scottish Ales (TSA)) - Silver Mist4.00AcceptableAmber bitter rather dominated by a smokey flavour that I suspect shouldn't have been there. Little hop character and a short dry finish. My score 14/20.
01 Apr 2012 (Martin the Mildman)
Busy on a Sunday lunch time, but got a table inside.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Conwy (Bragdy Conwy) - Lemon Ale4.20GoodSurprisingly good with a lemony flavour not exclusively from citrus hops. Not too sweet and fruity but a good balance of flavours. My score 15/20.
