The pub is found in Islington, Central London, N1 9LQ.

Just opposite Angel tube station on Upper Street, this pub has the bar to the left as you enter with some raised drinking areas and some booths the further back you go into the pub. Smallish Wetherspoon's, but fine for the hustle and bustle of Upper Street. Very steep precarious stairs lead down to the toilets. The counter is equipped with 12 handpumps in 2 separate banks, each of 6. Placed up for sale by Wetherspoon September 2022 with 31 others. Taken over by Urban Pubs and Bars in early summer 2023 with change of name and temporarily closed for an interior rehash. Re-opened 20th July 2023 with real ale usually available. Re-opened with yet another name in 2024.

We have visited this pub 33 times, seen 129 different beers and tried 40 of them.
