After the beer festival cleared out and we'd hung around watching people steal our cab outside it, we eventually made it to the Foundry. Busy with others from the beer festival by the looks of it. The member of staff who served me pro-actively asked if I was in CAMRA so I could benefit from the 10% discount. Both the beer and customer service here are excellent.

Came in here for food only to discover they stop at 6pm. Despite this catastrophe we stayed for a pint because this place is awesome.
| Canterbury Brewers - Loco IPA | 3.90 | | Aggressivley hoppy and very full bodied for a 3.9% ale. It was also extremely quaffable. |

Saturday lunchtime and very enjoyable few hours drinking 6 different beers and reading my Kindle.

| Canterbury Brewers - Red Rye | 5.60 | | Prefer this on cask, on tap and too cold. |
| Canterbury Brewers - Loco IPA | 3.90 | | Fine, if a little ascetic |

First customer in on a Saturday lunchtime, soon filled up and all of the seats were taken by the time I left two pints later. The atmosphere was relaxed as always and the staff first rate. There was also a new beer called 2012 on to make up the 7 handpulls but I didn't note the strength to add it.
| Canterbury Brewers - Street Light Porter | 5.80 | | Fantastic dark ale (not black, more dark brown) but with superb choc/malt/coffee smoothness. |
| Canterbury Brewers - Le Petit Belge | 4.40 | | Really rather excellent golden ale. Sweet in the mouth (pear drops and grapefruit) and bitter in the finish. Perfect balance. Lovely. |
| Canterbury Brewers - Foundry Torpedo | 4.50 | Not Tried | |
| Canterbury Brewers - Foundry Man's Gold | 4.00 | Not Tried | |
| Canterbury Brewers - Kobold | 5.00 | Not Tried | I had a try of this. It smelt a bit weird, but didn't taste too bad - a black lager..dunno put me off a bit. |
| Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - Left Coast Conspiracy | 5.50 | Not Tried | |

This pub keeps getting better and better. The smell of hops filled the pub which I think adds to the experience. Beer was great and the bean and lentil pie was top notch also.
| Canterbury Brewers - Street Light Porter | 5.80 | | Very good porter. |
| Canterbury Brewers - Kobold | 5.00 | | A black lager. Had a real smoky background to it but also exceptionally smooth. Great beer. |

| Canterbury Brewers - Foundry Torpedo | 4.50 | | Light copper colour with a good hop finish |
| Canterbury Brewers - Biggleton's Brown Ale | 3.80 | | Good condition top quality ale |
| Canterbury Brewers - Foundry Helles | 4.10 | | Not my usual tipple but nice enough |
| Canterbury Brewers - Hoppin Belgian | 6.80 | | I liked this, again not my usual beer but I could this all evening |

Friday afternoon, great place to be for the best beer selection outside of a festival. 7 hand pumps, 4 keg pumps of house beers plus Kronenbourg, Strongbow and Fosters for the "others". Vibrant atmosphere even though it was only 5.30 by the time I left. Upstairs was already full of student types. I was at the bar when a girl of about 19 or 20 asked for a pint of Raspberry beer, the barman, instead of asking to see her ID card, asked her if she was a member of CAMRA so she could have a 10% discount! Top stuff from a top pub.
| Canterbury Brewers - Hoppin Belgian | 6.80 | | I was told by the outrageously well-informed barman that this is brewed with Citra and Magnum hops and dry-hopped with Morteuka New Zealand hops and uses a Belgian yeast. That's as maybe, but this is a massive beer. Get it while you can. |
| Canterbury Brewers - Street Light Porter | 5.80 | | Superb stout. Sweetish but not too much. Choc/coffee balance was just right. |
| Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - East Kent Pale Ale | 4.10 | Not Tried | |
| Canterbury Brewers - Foundry Torpedo | 4.50 | Not Tried | |
| Canterbury Brewers - Foundry Man's Gold | 4.00 | Not Tried | |
| Canterbury Brewers - Canterbury Wheat | 4.40 | Not Tried | |
| Canterbury Brewers - Red Rye | 5.60 | Not Tried | |
