Quite busy even though it's off the high street. Disappointing to see so many people either drinking Fosters or wine. Anyway I sat at the bar and drank Torpedo.
Canterbury Brewers - Foundry Torpedo | 4.50 | | I'd have given this a 5 out of 5 if it wasn't for the fact it was way too cold. |
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - No. 5 | 4.40 | Not Tried
Canterbury Ales (sometimes badged as Canterbrew) - The Wife of Bath's Ale | 3.90 | Not Tried

Had a swift pint before heading back home as the rain was descending on us. I do like this place but I was disappointed to see exactly the same ale lineup as the last time I was here.

Came to Canterbury to check this place out. We were pretty impressed, the beer was good and the food was nice as well. A great addition to the Canterbury beer scene.
Canterbury Brewers - Foundry Torpedo | 4.50 | | Pale, hoppy beer. Tastes remarkably like Gadds' - No 3. |
Canterbury Ales (sometimes badged as Canterbrew) - The Wife of Bath's Ale | 3.90 | | Nope I simply don't like this beer. Still, lifeless and boring. Not my cup of tea. |

Just enough people in without being crowded, nice pub. I liked the copper topped tables.
Canterbury Brewers - Foundry Torpedo | 4.50 | | I preferred this to the Gold, really fresh taste, super hops and a wonderful sharp lingering finish 10/10 |
Canterbury Ales (sometimes badged as Canterbrew) - The Wife of Bath's Ale | 3.90 | | Nice pint, top notch bitter. |
Canterbury Brewers - Foundry Man's Gold | 4.00 | | A nice well rounded bitter, pale copper, nice balance of hops and malt. |

This pub has now been open for four days, and it looks as though it will be very successful. There was a good mix of people trying the various beers and ciders, the staff were enthusiastic, and best of all I managed to get a tour of the brewery.
Canterbury Brewers - Foundry Torpedo | 4.50 | | Some other customers had a taster of this, and did not like it. They offered it to me, and I just had to have a couple of pints of it before I left. A really nice bitter finish. |
Canterbury Brewers - Foundry Man's Gold | 4.00

Only open for 2 days. Busy with people wanting to sample the new Canterbury Brewers beer. Nice friendly pub with plenty of seating and the brew kit visible to the side behind the bar.
Canterbury Brewers - Foundry Torpedo | 4.50 | | Really good best bitter. Well balanced, slightly syrupy, nettlely hop finish. |
Canterbury Brewers - Foundry Man's Gold | 4.00 | | Really very good fruity bitter. Nice hint of buscuity malt in it too. |
Canterbury Ales (sometimes badged as Canterbrew) - The Wife of Bath's Ale | 3.90 | | Nice pint of the Wife. |
Canterbury Brewers - Canterbury Wheat | 4.40 | | Ian tells me that this is good to style. Not really my kind of beer but clearly in very good condition. |
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - No. 5 | 4.40 | Not Tried
