Few in for a Tuesday afternoon. Barmaid telling about the number of customers who have told her they love her. And its only 4 pm. The customers didn't seem that drunk either. High on the rock music!

Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - West Coast IPA (superseded by 5.6% version)6.50ExceptionalIts 5.6% and possibly my favourite new beer of the year. Its been superb in 3 different pubs now. Clip shows the retiring chap from eddy gadds brewery who helped design and brew it. Pony tailed chap often found in the Monty. Drinking.

Late afternoon visit. Oddly (given the date) there is a Christmas Fair going on outside and providing plenty of custom. This seems a slightly disreputable pub with a low cleaning budget, slightly iffy customers and really good, Sunday afternoon, loud, singalong music from the likes of PiL, The Dammed, Mötorhead and Golden Earring. In short, just the sort of place I feel comfortable in.

Busy corner pub right in the centre of town in King Street. Attracts a mostly alternative crowd and there will often be heavy rock music on the jukebox. Several large TV screens for sport enthusiasts. There is a raised area to the rear. 3 handpumps on the lower bar counter. Deservedly awarded a CAMRA Good Beer Guide entry for 2021.

We have visited this pub 188 times, seen 57 different beers and tried 41 of them.
