We were hoping to fins a busy pub with a good live band. Instead we found an empty pub with a dejected band packing away their gear. Friday's aren't good to this place apparently.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - Left Coast Conspiracy5.50AcceptableThis wasn't up to scratch really. Quite flat and tired.

Here to see the band 'Melonheadman'. We were 3 out of the 6 total customers in, felt a bit sorry for the band. Still a good night though and the beer was in really good condition.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - No. 35.00ExcellentPerfect pint of 3.
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - 80/-4.60ExcellentThis is a great beer. Really malty and sweet with a sort of toffee vibe going on.

Just dropped in for a swift one before heading over to Broadstairs. Pretty quiet for a friday night but then it was the first weekend of the new year.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - No. 35.00GoodYup, decent pint but not quite in perfect condition.

Braved the extreme weather and found myself in here early on a Thursday night. Surprisingly busy considering how evil it was outside. Had a couple before moving on whilst there was a break in the rain.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - No. 35.00ExcellentPerfect condition, still one of my favourites when it's being served like this.
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - No. 54.40Not Tried

Last stop before heading over to Broadstairs for a bit of life. There was a band playing that seemed to be going down well. I find this place growing on me.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - No. 54.40GoodSolid pint of No 5. Malty and crisp.

Since Thorley's has struck a new deal with Gadds' it means you can get a decent pint of ale in any of his pubs. Fantastic news considering how many there are in Thanet. First time I've been here in years, hasn't changed much and still had mostly the same songs playing.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - No. 54.40GoodQuite sweet and very malty. Good bitter.
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - No. 35.00GoodSurprisingly good pint of 3. Light and hoppy, almost too drinkable.

Busy corner pub right in the centre of town in King Street. Attracts a mostly alternative crowd and there will often be heavy rock music on the jukebox. Several large TV screens for sport enthusiasts. There is a raised area to the rear. 3 handpumps on the lower bar counter. Deservedly awarded a CAMRA Good Beer Guide entry for 2021.
