Early evening on a wet Saturday. Very good service at the bar and a good crowd of drinkers on the public side. The restaurant area was fully booked but they managed to accommodate somebody who was hungry and didn't mind where he sat.

Lovely low ceilinged old pub in The Street, in a pretty part of Willesborough, not far from William Harvey Hospital. Central dark wood bar serves large single room. Large fireplace to one side. Original wood beams add character. Quirky split level garden at rear. Cosy pub with 5 handpumps.
