In here around an hour after I had whizzed through Stratford International station on a Eurostar. If only it lived up to its ‘International’ name and international trains actually stopped there.

I don’t seem to have noted several recent visits here – but I was present on Sunday evening, and an old friend from Lewisham was filling me in on pub developments south of the river.

A brand new pub opened on 13 September 2011 in the Westfield Shopping Centre at Stratford. It is directly opposite Stratford International railway station in what is called International Square, the pub contains a micro-brewery and stocks approximately 500 bottled beers. It is a sister pub to the Rake in Borough Market. 6 handpumps in 2 banks of 3 with one bank usually reserved for Tap East's own brews.
