Early evening- some regulars still going strong on this ridiculously long additional bank holiday weekend in a month with two others. I’m trying to avoid coronation stuff but good bar banter turned to pot-holes in the Mall and who should be paying for them so I left them to it, without noting all the other, no doubt very good, beers.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Oakham - Green Devil IPA6.00ExcellentIt’s Oakham, it’s 6%, it’s at the best real ale pub in Canterbury. What’s not to like.

Early evening - pleasant. I read a bit and then commiserated with fellow Fulham fan Steve about our team’s recent form. The juke box is off to the Midlands to be repaired tomorrow.

Evening. We have a few tables in the conservatory area reserved for a bit of a do to celebrate my son’s birthday and his partner’s - who is 50 today. A good time had by all - and the barman, who is working single handedly, does very well.

Swift visit mid evening. Pleasantly quiet. Salopian Light Fantastic at 4.2 also on. Only the four ales on - fewest I’ve seen here for a long time. All under £4 a pint though.

Titanic - Cappuccino4.50Not TriedReally didn’t fancy the idea of this one - although it was being raved about.

Evening- I had just been to a walking football session nearby and was thirsty. Met my son for a rather enjoyable small session. The previous landlord was in plus a good smattering of locals. 3 other ales on, not noted.
