Swift visit mid evening. Pleasantly quiet.
Salopian Light Fantastic at 4.2 also on. Only the four ales on - fewest I’ve seen here for a long time. All under £4 a pint though.

Evening- I had just been to a walking football session nearby and was thirsty. Met my son for a rather enjoyable small session. The previous landlord was in plus a good smattering of locals. 3 other ales on, not noted.

Mid afternoon- beer festival. Cold day so relatively small turnout - but growing as the evening approached. An excellent selection of ales at normal, low, New Inn prices - unlike the rather lacklustre event going on in the Dane John. At least a dozen other ales on.
