17:30 visit. Having got my 90 minute "tour" of Canterburys' old prison, via a few spare spaces, I made this my final stop today. Quite busy here with many diners in. And tidy too with good service.

Located just in North Lane. Quite substantial floor space and nooks and crannies to drink in. Over the years, it has been modified and rebuilt, and has lost much of its timber frame and original features.

We have visited this pub 80 times, seen 161 different beers and tried 90 of them.
