Sunday evening. A few drinkers in - nice atmosphere.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Dark Star - Hophead was 3.8% (some has also been brewed by Fuller's)3.40ExcellentIn excellent condition, good hoppy flavour and body especially for a fairly low ABV ale.
Shepherd Neame - Samuel Adams Blonde Ambition4.50PoorLandlord spotted our faces as my son and I winced at the taste of this rather good looking beer - clear and with a reasonable head - but on the verge of sour. To his credit he immediately took the beer off and replaced the pints apologetically. End of the barrel - had been good earlier apparently.
