23 Dec 2012 (Alenomore)
13:00 visit. We came back today to have a Roast lunch, which was very good, and to imbibe some more of the festive ales that were unsold from last week. Good crowd in and we had some interesting discussion on the thorny issue of the local CAMRA gbg selection process? And you'll be pleased to hear that landlord Bob is in the process of creating his own micro-brewery. Watch this space?

16 Dec 2012 (Alenomore)
14:00 visit. This was the one "must do" today, for the anuual Winter Ales mini b/f. Bob mentioned he's been very quiet this week because of the bad weather, with most ales still waiting to go on. Today, the sun is blazing, the cat is sitting next to me, the fire crackling away and a decent crowd in. Had an excellant Roast Beef dinner which, be warned, is a very generous portion, and good value. And the ales were top class too.
