09 Jul 2018 (Philip Pirrip)
Evening visit until midnight close. Generally acknowledged as the best 'Spoon's in sarf London. A regular and indeed current GBG entry.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Cairngorm - Wildcat5.10ExcellentSmooth and naturally malt dominated. A mad snip at £1.99pp
Big Penny (formerly Truman's) as of late 2022 contract brewed - Two Halves4.20GoodWhy do they call this an IPA at 4.2% and with lemon juice overtones. Not the stuff that would have gone to India. I also wish Trumans would brew beer styles true to its roots, rather than its one-dimensional use of newer hop types. This one in good condition but a total chore to drink
