Evening. The wind was whipping up sand this far from the harbour and cutting a mortal body like a meat cleaver. Only one other brave customer in.

I was the first customer in at opening time and had a very good chat with the landlord. He told me that I was the first person to know what KB stood for on one of the illuminated signs (No it is not Keg Buster) I loved the superb collection of bits and pieces including an old Walls Ice Cream freezer of the type that I remember in corner shops during my childhood and of course the Batemans and Ansells signs on display.

Brand new micro. So different from other micros like the conqueror or Two halves.Landlord put on an extra beer for Angie when she said she preferred a stout. Massive crowd in for a very popular Geordy landlord. Could become a disco with real ales late night. Very retro. A welcome addition to the Margate micro scene. Lots of youngsters drinking real ale. The future looks bright as do the decoration!!
