Great pub now run by a young couple Charlie and Heather. Quite a few in for a Saturday lunchtime, 5 beers on hand pull and also 3 real ciders available as well, great stuff.
Hopdaemon - Skrimshander IPA | 4.50 | | Fantastic beer, lovely hoppy aroma and full of taste. |
Goacher's - Real Mild Ale | 3.40 | | Not normally a mild drinker, but this was great, it tasted just like Andrew said last week. |
Hopdaemon - Incubus | 4.00 | | A slightly more floral aroma than I remember and also seemed to have a slightly prickly taste. Great pint nevertheless. |
Hogs Back - Tongham TEA (previously T.E.A.) | 4.20 | | Nice enough, good body and smooth finish |

I first came here when the Landlords were Katherine and Peter (who now run 'Blakes' in Dover). Knowing that they'd left I expected to walk in and find Green King IPA and London Pride on - wow was that a mistake. The pub looked similar to the last time I was in except the tables in the main bar had been pushed to the edges giving the pub a less restraunt feel. The sign outside said, 'Open all day every day' - good!
Goacher's - Real Mild Ale | 3.40 | | Very hoppy with a good burnt malt flavour. This was dark mild at its best. I wish I hadn't been driving or I could have had more than a half! |
Hopdaemon - Incubus | 4.00 | Not Tried
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - No. 7 | 3.80 | Not Tried
Hopdaemon - Skrimshander IPA | 4.50 | Not Tried | Although I didn't have this I had a sip of Jane's and it tasted loverly. |

The landlord and landlady have now left this pub but it remains open. New landlord and landlady have taken over.
Hopdaemon - Incubus | 4.00 | Not Tried

Sunday lunch time and it was packed. It's the first time I've been with it being totally non-smoking and the front bar was far more pleasant being smoke free. The owners were as friendly as ever. It's a great pub
Moorhouse's - Black Cat Mild | 3.40 | | I love this mild. Silky and very drinkable. |
1648 - Armistice | 4.20 | | Far too much taste for a beer of this strength for my liking. Fruity and bitter. |
Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') - DogBolter Dark Porter | 5.60 | | All I could really taste was the alcohol. No real body. |
Hopdaemon - Incubus | 4.00 | Not Tried

Friendly welcome from both landlord and landlady. Hopdaemon Incubus is the best seller here and well worth it. Served well and kept with care. Food is locally sourced and the homemade pate was supberb. Serves upto 6 beers
Hopdaemon - Incubus | 4.00 | | Another fantastic outlet for Hopdaemon's outstanding beers. Incubus is quickly becoming this brewers best beer |
