Sat opposite the fire place. Great pub this.
| Canterbury Ales (sometimes badged as Canterbrew) - The Wife of Bath's Ale | 3.90 | | Maybe this was just very fresh but the grapefruit hop was very pronounced and drowned out the other flavours I usually find in this fantastic beer. Still very good (and in excellent condition). I hope the recipe hasn't been changed!!! |

We somehow managed to upset the barman in here, not entirely sure how it happened but we decided it best we make a swift exit.
| Abigale - Samphire | 4.10 | | Perfectly good, easy drinking bitter. |

Ah the Bell and Crown. After just visiting the Belgium Suit seller down the road it was nice to get back into a proper boozer. Can't really beat the Bell and Crown.
| Canterbury Ales (sometimes badged as Canterbrew) - The Wife of Bath's Ale | 3.90 | | Ha ha, this was laughingly good. Really, I did laugh when I took my first sip of this. Man this is great. The fruit, hops and malt in this are just brilliant. Ha ha ha. |
| Abigale - Samphire | 4.10 | | Very good condition and I really do want to love this beer but I think it just isn't to be my cup of tea. Slightly tart, toasted and tight. Nice. |

Little Red Rooster came on the jukebox as I walked in. Awesome.
| Canterbury Ales (sometimes badged as Canterbrew) - The Wife of Bath's Ale | 3.90 | | Of all the new Kent beers I think this is my favourite along with Tonbridge Blonde Ambition. Really tasty citrus hops great stunning condition and all for 3.8% abv |

Quiet period after lunch, cool and relaxed in here.
| Whitstable - East India Pale Ale (or EIPA) | 4.10 | | Really good pint, everything an IPA should be. |
| Hopdaemon - Green Daemon | 5.00 | | Had rouble scoring this one, it's just not to my taste, in excellent condition and no doubt very nice if you like the style, just not for me. |
| Old Dairy (being contract brewed after it closed) - Gold Top | 4.30 | | Nice pint, nothing exceptional but OK. |
| Hopdaemon - Incubus | 4.00 | Not Tried | |

Relaxed sunny drinking establishment. Blues and rock on the stereo. Love this pub.
| Canterbury Ales (sometimes badged as Canterbrew) - The Prince's Ale | 4.00 | | Excellent condition. Same colour as Wife of Bath and a very similar flavour except for the presence of grapefruit hops. I love the watery mouth-feel of Canterbury Ales. |

Been too long since I was here. Not many in but that gave the pub an airy feel. Still the best pub in Canterbury for me.

3rd stop on our crawl of Canterbury and this is possibly my favourite pub of the bunch. Lovely old building with a really old school interior. Relaxing place to sit and sink a few beers.
| Canterbury Ales (sometimes badged as Canterbrew) - The Wife of Bath's Ale | 3.90 | | Fruity, a little yeasty. Kind of had a homebrew flavour going on. |
| Whitstable - East India Pale Ale (or EIPA) | 4.10 | Not Tried | |
| Old Dairy (being contract brewed after it closed) - Blue Top | 4.80 | Not Tried | |

It was heaving. We managed to get a table though as most of the customers preferred to stand-up and jostle with each other as if in a game of human bumper-cars. I was here with Ian, Martin and Jane.
| Canterbury Ales (sometimes badged as Canterbrew) - The Wife of Bath's Ale | 3.90 | | Had the last pint out and one of the first pints of the new barrel. Both were superb. |

I sat by the door at a huge table and soaked up the atmosphere in what is one of the best pubs I've ever been to. This place is what going to the pub is all about.
| Canterbury Ales (sometimes badged as Canterbrew) - The Wife of Bath's Ale | 3.90 | | The condition on this was superb and the flavours unbeatable; earthy hop, lemon rind and just so quaffable. If only all session beers were this good. |
