Early doors on a Saturday and soon filled up.

Busy for opening time on a Saturday morning with a queue forming outside.
Trouble Brewing - Dark Arts4.50ExcellentDark brown porter in rare cask form from an Irish micro brewery. Fairly sweet and malty with a slight bitter edge and a dry finish. My score 16/20.
Metalman - Windjammer4.50AcceptableAnother rare Irish cask brew, brewed at White Gypsy presently. Hoppy and bitter, amber in colour. Dry, hoppy finish. My score 14/20.

At the other end of Platform 1 to the King's Head. Large pub with 4 rooms, well furnished, central bar serves all the rooms. Lots of railway memorabilia on the walls. Owned by Head of Steam Group until subsequently purchased by Camerons Brewery in December 2013.
