Well worth visiting. My pint had been bought for me by the time that I arrived (I had popped in to the Crown for a flyer on the way here) so I did note the full range of beers.

I arrived bang on 12pm opening, two other customers already in one of whom was ChrisE kicking off a crawl around Eastbourne's periphery. My favourite pub of the day - a veritable unspoilt gem of a timewarp pub!

Lunchtime visit a minute or two before the official 12:00 opening. Friendly landlord and bar staff made me feel welcome. I was joined by Magnus of this site after a few minutes in the pub. A good range of Harvey's beers were available, I have not listed them all.

I have always found this to be a pub that serves Harvey's beers in excellent condition, and today was no exception.

Very busy and it took some time to get served. It did not help matters when I ordered a pint of Mild and the barman had to go down to the cellar to get it.

A very attractive street corner pub in Willingdon Road retaining two bars. The former public bar is lively and sports both pool and bar billiards, whilst the former saloon bar is ideal for those wishing to enjoy a quiet pint.
We have visited this pub 5 times, seen 11 different beers and tried 4 of them.
