Rather quiet on the first Monday evening of the year.

Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Pride4.10GoodThe barman had so much trouble pulling this pint that I thought it would be dreadful – but actually pretty decent.

Still quite busy with commuters at 8pm. This pub is now part of the Stonegate Pub Co chain. I’ve always thought it has a rather odd layout here under the arches, now that it is all one bar area.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Harvey's - Lewes Castle Brown Ale4.80GoodA nice, proper Brown Ale. Dark, a bit of toffee/caramel, but not excessive. Lingering, sticky finish. Served with a ‘London’ head – almost a rarity in chain pubs these days.
