Nice and busy, both drinkers and eaters. Landlady is always friendly. She took photos of us cyclists for publicity, I didn't think we were an attraction.

Sunday lunchtime cycle meet. Very busy but the landlady did a good job of moving us around the British Legion meeting and the early Xmas diners. Great community pub this - shame it has a beer tie.

St Austell - Cornish Best (was 3.5%)3.40GoodReasonable for a 3.4, good condition.

Lunchtime cycle meet - back door open before noon. Strange goings on with the London Pride. Good, traditional pub but could be more adventurous with their ales.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Harvey's - Sussex Best Bitter4.00ExcellentTop condition.
Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Pride4.10ExcellentA new barrel on just after opening time. It was the best Pride I’d had in a long while - but the guvnor told the barman to take it off as he said it was too lively!

Sunday lunch, just after noon. Extremely busy. 5 cyclist/drinkers were allowed a table for an hour and then had to move on.

Early afternoon- here for the beer, cider and music festival - on all over the Easter weekend. Beers in the stable block - reasonable choice for a pub with limited offerings normally. Pleasantly busy in the sunshine.

Cycle meet, Sunday lunchtime. Seven of us enjoyed it, seems like a good community pub. Shame about the lack of choice on ales - just the TT Landlord on today.
