Just a scattering of pre-noon customers. Much preparation underway for the arrival of lunchtime diners. We only noticed the handpumps, but it seems there may have been additional cask beers available on gravity dispense somewhere.

12:15 Second stop on the Ale Trail. Dog group having a meeting at one end of the bar. Stand selling beer flavoured cakes as a tie in with the City of Ale at the other end. I had a Beer, Bacon and Pecan Bar. Odd but good.

My first visit since the Kiwi take over. Good chat with the barman about the Jo C's range of beers led to a tasting and a discussion about the various tastes.

The pub is found in Norwich, Norfolk, NR2 3AD.
Single bar in Earlham Road, Farrow & Ball painted, very smart. Beers are on handpump and gravity from the Tap Room. Renamed in 2019 with plans to add accommodation and and improved garden. Re-named again in 2021 very much to its original name.
We have visited this pub 5 times, seen 28 different beers and tried 7 of them.
