Late afternoon a few locals parked up at one end of the bar. Friendly welcome I was offered a taster without prompting.

Every residential neighbourhood deserves to have a lovely boozer like this to use as a local unfortunately, very few are so lucky.

Evening. 1st visit having read justified good reviews. Excellent wide range of ales for a SE London suburban house with a clearly good following. Motivated, friendly, knowledgeable bar staff and they coped well with the England football match crowd in for 2300 kick off. As a hors d'oeuvre for the football a brass quartet of 2 trumpets, 1 trombone and a tuba entertained the throng.
