Popped in here as it happened to be open on a mid week afternoon. Friendly and welcoming expected micropub atmosphere with a couple of other chaps in.

Never been here. Never been to New Romney actually (except driving through). Very nice - the pub and the town. We met Martin here and wowed him with tales of the tour so far.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Kent - Old Skool4.10GoodWell served. Highly attenuated (a characteristic of their beers for me). Leafy best bitter.

I had been in the Red Lion, Snargate and on Saturdays there is bus that leaves that pub shortly before afternoon closing time and drops you off here, so that is what I did. Very much local trade in here today and a bit cliquey. I have not listed all the beers but there were four on offer in total.

Evening until 9pm close. A cracking Micropub but my colleague found it very echoey and told the proprietors that in no uncertain terms. The close seating arrangements make for inevitable conversations. Personally I'd like to see some Kentish beers always on the menu.
