Ian		25 Aug 2006	Labelled as Dark Star Original. Lovely black beer with sourness and roasted malts and a juicy texture to it too. Very moreish.
Ian		05 Jul 2006	Badged as Dark Star Original. It lacked a little of its freshness from Saturday, but still a very good malty beer with a surprising hop finish
Ian		01 Jul 2006	Served straight from the barrel as the lines were being cleaned. Dark malt aroma. A rich beer with plenty of depth. Some dryness on end. I loved it. Had good complexity and depth of flavour to the malts, but never got sickly or sweet.

Ian		17 Jun 2005	Dark ruby colour. Last time I had this was at the White Cliffs beer festival where I scored it a 5/5 Exceptional. This is not quite how I remember it, but it still had some lovely raisiny fruit, some coffee flavours. Very rich very smooth and good balance. Sweetish hedgerow black fruit.
