Ray		01 Jun 2010	Jet black. Initially promising with roast coffee aromas. Tastes of chocolate and coffee quickly subsided to leave a slightly thin ale.
McGargle		10 Jan 2010	Thin in body and flavour probably caused by pump syphoning back. Needed, perhaps, 40 pulls to fill the glass.

Ian		21 Oct 2010	I've had poor experiences with this beer, especially in terms of diacetyl, but this was very good indeed. Very drinkable, good dark roasted malts. Each pint disappeared without much difficulty.

Ian		02 Jul 2008	Black with thin tan head. Bit of liquorice on aroma. Thick and syrupy in mouth, some coffee and choc, but this dry liquorice comes through. Not great for me.
