Hogan Sampling		15 Mar 2025	One of my party of four was already on this and so a half had to be then sampled by me. This premium bitter had a superb foamy head and lacing, the like of which I have not really seen since my visit to Allsopp's pub, The Blue Stoops, in February of this year. A moreishly dry bitter first hit. A lovely malty mouthfeel derived from its make-up of Berkshire barley and Kentish hops, with a hint of marmalade thrown in, and a slight sweetness from its toffee and caramel infusions. A really pleasant maltiness pervaded the aftertaste.
