The ChrisE bus tour on what would have been his birthday. I'd not been here for 15+ years, and then I come twice in 30 days! Met for the first time, Dosser and Angie, and Pedro. Great pub.

First stop of the Ashford, Folkestone and Romney Marsh CAMRA mini bus tour. And a cracking tour it turned out to be. Doris' was quite busy given it's remote location. Lovely pub.

We arrived 4 minutes past 18.00 opening and already a half dozen or so enjoying their beers. Friendly welcome as always but bringing the sad news of ChrisE's funeral arrangements added a rather sombre note to the evening.

Evening visit just after 6pm opening time and already a few in. Good conversation all round. There was a beer from Tomos Watkin in addition to the beers listed but I can't remember the name of it.

A dozen or so of us all piled off a restored East Kent Regent V in Sealink livery made for an incongruous sight for passers by. The pub opened an hour early for us at 17.00 so we enjoyed the exclusivity until booked opening time.
