The 'band' were murdering Handbags and Gladrags so we sat outside. Place was full mind. Be wary of the new pay to park scheme.
Hawkshead - Windermere Pale (was 3.5%) | 3.40 | | Lacking it's usual hippy bite. |

Ten cask ales. Super dog friendly.
Hawkshead - Windermere Pale (was 3.5%) | 3.40 | | Just what's needed after a very long drive. Crisp and refreshing. |
21 Apr 2022 (McGargle)
Hawkshead - Windermere Pale (was 3.5%) | 3.40 | | First pint was clearly a mis-serve, Westmoreland? This was what I was expecting. |

Busy. 'Beer Garden' full so borrowed the cafe seating.
Too many beers to note but the flagship Windermere didn't hit the mark.
Hawkshead - Windermere Pale (was 3.5%) | 3.40 | | Disappointing. Darker in colour and the fresh hop zing totally absent. I fear the old brewers are sorely missed. |

Service at the bar. Staff unmasked. Became very busy so left after one beer.
Hawkshead - Windermere Pale (was 3.5%) | 3.40 | | Lacking hop hit and finesse. Change of brewing team responsible? |

Great beer as usual with good service. Just a shame about the aged hippies murdering acoustic favourites. Why do hipster bars encourage this dross?
Not all beers noted.
Hawkshead - Windermere Pale (was 3.5%) | 3.40 | | Afetr a long drive this was just the job. |

Effortlessly gets everything right. One of my favourite bars. Not all beers listed.
Hawkshead - Windermere Pale (was 3.5%) | 3.40 | | Makes brewing seem effortless. Light, hoppy and refreshing. |
Hawkshead - Dry Stone Stout | 4.50 | | A good roasty stout. |
Hawkshead - Hop Black | 5.60 | | Similar to Thornbridge Wild Raven this black IPA was almost worth 5*. |

Top spot as usual. Great beer, friendly and keen staff.
Hawkshead - Windermere Pale (was 3.5%) | 3.40 | | Fresh, hoppy and refreshing. |
Hawkshead - Dry Stone Stout | 4.50 | | But lacking some depth. |

Day one of the ninth summer beer festival to be held here. I really like this place as there is plenty of seating, good beer in top condition and good knowledgeable staff. Cider and a range of keg beers were available. The food menu included Lobster Thermidor but it seems that they have forgotten to put the essential spam on top of it.

A 'must visit'. Still shuts early during the week.
Hawkshead - Windermere Pale (was 3.5%) | 3.40 | | Am I becoming hop tolerant? Well crafted but seemed to be lacking .... hops. |
