The 'band' were murdering Handbags and Gladrags so we sat outside. Place was full mind. Be wary of the new pay to park scheme.

Busy. 'Beer Garden' full so borrowed the cafe seating. Too many beers to note but the flagship Windermere didn't hit the mark.

Great beer as usual with good service. Just a shame about the aged hippies murdering acoustic favourites. Why do hipster bars encourage this dross? Not all beers noted.

Day one of the ninth summer beer festival to be held here. I really like this place as there is plenty of seating, good beer in top condition and good knowledgeable staff. Cider and a range of keg beers were available. The food menu included Lobster Thermidor but it seems that they have forgotten to put the essential spam on top of it.

The pub is found in Staveley, Cumbria, LA8 9LR.

The Beer Hall is attached to Hawkshead Brewery which can be seen through glass. It is part brewery tap, part visitor centre and shop and food can be be brought in or ordered from the cafes on site. Usually carries the full range of Hawkshead beers including seasonals and offers lots of comfortable seating including sofas. Seems to have been swiftly closed with little warning in September 2024 after closure of the brewery at this site.
