Afternoon visit after attending Whitstable Brewery. The buffet laid on was very impressive for the cost of £5/head. Planning to hold a beer festival sometime in July.

The pub is found in Sandway, Kent, ME17 2HY.

In Lenham Heath Road it has several rooms including a separate dining room. Large outside area. Function Room and real fires. Closed in 2016. Taken over by Elite with plans for winter 2022 re-opening and described as "currently undergoing a £2.5 million refurbishment and extensions. The Wishful Thinker will soon be home to 18 bedrooms, an impressive large dining room, internal bar terrace over looking the dining room and even a stage for the ultimate live experiences!" Opened in new guise 5th June 2023.
