Saturday evening and a delightful atmosphere. Very good service at the bar. I overheard some CAMRA members discussing the old days in the Flying Scotsman (now Scottish Stores) pub.

Saturday evening and a good relaxing atmosphere in a properly run pub. Cask ales selling well with the majority of customers claiming Camra discount. I still think that 9F on display would look better in my front room.

Mid evening - pleasantly busy. Also had a Fuggle Bunny beer on - but my pic was too blurry to discern the name - shame I missed this in the gloom - haven't tried that brewer yet.

Busy Saturday evening, the service was good and friendly. The usual chaos downstairs with people struggling with the door codes to enter the toilets. This pub now gives 15% CAMRA discount.

Saturday evening, I had heard that Fullers have recently invested a lot of money in this place and I got the impression that it has paid off as it a long time since I have seen it as busy as it was tonight. I was pleased to see that the magnificent 9F is still there along with a few more totems. Both entrances were open and you no longer need a code for the toilets.

Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - London Pride4.10GoodGood but a little cold. I must admit that I ordered this before I noticed the guest beers on a different bank of pumps.

Early to mid evening birthday do with former work colleagues on a windswept Euston day. Why, I wonder, are Fuller's houses so expensive when their own brand beer is locally delivered and guests may be purchased with awesome buying power? I rarely enter them.
BeerABVScoreNotes
St Austell - Tribute4.20GoodTraditional English mid brown bitter pretty much always passable.

Cleaner and more comfortable than it was in its Head of Steam days, but also far less adventurous with its beer selection – although, obviously, this is now based on Fullers beers.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - Bengal Lancer5.00ExcellentGolden in colour with typical Fullers biscuit malt overlaid by decent but not intrusive hops. A rare ‘British’-type IPA as opposed to an American Pale Ale.
Harviestoun - Ruck and Maul3.70AcceptableA golden-coloured beer with a good balance of malt and hops.

The pub is found in Euston, Central London, NW1 1DN.

Just outside of Euston railway station overlooking the bus stops this was originally called The Head of Steam until taken over and renamed by Fuller's. It looks awful from outside, but inside it has up 15 handpumps in 3 banks, each of 5. Lots of railway memorabilia with a raised area overlooking the bus station. Beers are from the Fuller's range plus guests. Normally a cider available. You will need to ask the bar staff for the code to unlock the door to the toilets in the basement. Substantial 15% CAMRA discount for card carrying members.

We have visited this pub 33 times, seen 101 different beers and tried 38 of them.
