During the early evening rush.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Acorn - Old Moor Porter4.40ExcellentA proper, black Porter. Really good chocolate, fruit and hop flavours.
Pressure Drop - Street Porter4.50ExcellentFrom key-keg and nowadays brewed to 6.5%. Pretty fine.
Fuller's (part of Asahi Europe) - Steam Effort (Fuller's & Friends collaboration with Redemption)4.50ExcellentSeemingly now brewed at Fullers rather than at Redemption. Clear gold in colour. This has a full, almost creamy mouthfeel coupled with bitter hop flavours. Very nice.

Evening visit until 11pm close. I really do like the pub's Arcoroc pint and half pint straight glasses with rounded bases. Good to see Turners Russet 8% cider on one of the 6 cask taps.

Early evening after work. The new ‘garden’ area at the rear is proving popular tonight.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Siren Craft - Suspended in Magic4.00ExceptionalA cloudy yellow colour. Fab. Ekuanot, Mosaic, Mandarina and Simcoe hops. Lovely.
Harvey's - Wharf IPA4.80ExcellentA very nice addition to Harvey’s cask range. Amber/gold in colour. A nice balance of spicy and citrus hop flavours.
Firestone Walker - Easy Jack IPA4.50GoodA yank import on keg, and it is a bit too fizzy as a consequence. Has all the expected West Coast hop flavours but at a sensible strength.
