We walked from the Green Berry and on route Ian had an Orval to refresh himself. Isn't Deal nice. It was 5pm and dark. Pretty Christmas trees twinkled out of well kept Georgian front rooms. Even the high street was tastefully decorated. We arrived at the pub and more or less crashed through the door, much to the entertainment of the locals. The pub was nicely done out for Christmas.

An early pint, before the sun had even reached the yardarm. A small group of regulars at the bar discussing paint and rowing. My first visit to Deal and I thought this was a very pleasant pub.

First stop on our mini pub crawl in Deal. Love this pub, really olde world feel to it and a really comfortable place to have a drink. The busiest pub we were in all night and it probably deserves it.
