My last port of call on a Saturday evening. Roger Corbett was sitting at the bar, and we had a few beers before catching the last fast train home.
BeerABVScoreNotes

The good old Monty 'Sunday session', the busiest a pub will get in Thanet. No seats left so stood in front of the bar and chatted about the upcoming Thanet beer festival.

Newmans - Spring Cottage Biscuit4.20AcceptableOverly sweet, slightly malty with a hint of hops. Meh.

3rd stop and it breaks up the walk back to Broadstairs nicely. The busiest of the 3 pubs we were in, and you can always expect a friendly welcome.

Just came down for a quiet midweek drink. Pub quiz was going on, didn't even know they did one here. Just sat behind the bar and enjoyed our beer.

Just a post-cinema swifty tonight. Half a dozen or so people in, including Gray. We sat and discussed the pros and cons of remaking or making sequels to movies. We're an exciting bunch.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Wantsum - Black Pig4.80AcceptableRoasted malt and maybe a hint of chocolate. The flavours are good but I thought it was a little bit watery and not quite full-flavoured enough.

It must have been a long time since I was last here as the building has completely changed colour, the facelift looks good. I've missed these sunday afternoon sessions, great fun.

It always feels a little like coming home when I get here, odd that I leave it so long between visits. A dozen or so in tonight, just enough to make it feel busy. Sat and chatted to Andy about the various pubs we've got to visit. So many pubs, so little time.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Meantime - London Pale Ale4.30ExcellentCrisp and refreshing pale ale. Great hop on this, really tasty. A great beer.
