Thursday night crowds. I stayed until around 9:45 when beer started suddenly to be served in matchday plastic receptacles and the whole place turned a queasy shade of claret and blue.

A brand new pub opened on 13 September 2011 in the Westfield Shopping Centre at Stratford. It is directly opposite Stratford International railway station in what is called International Square, the pub contains a micro-brewery and stocks approximately 500 bottled beers. It is a sister pub to the Rake in Borough Market. 6 handpumps in 2 banks of 3 with one bank usually reserved for Tap East's own brews.
