Saturday lunchtime on a cloudy day:the pub was awaiting a delegation from Maidstone CAMRA who were presenting a Certificate long delayed by COVID19.

A few in on a warm Saturday noon.My pub visiting seems to be rather curtailed of late, but both the beer and Covid precautions are good in this house. A beer from Only With Love brewery was also available.

The back garden was full, but I was able to sit at the little table on the High Street, on a bright but cold Saturday early afternoon. In the background, the melancholy tolling of the church bell, in honour of the Duke of Edinburgh.
This house is now also serving craft keg and canned beers.Good to be back.
