This pub is top notch. He does Archer's village as a regular and then varies the other pump. The beer's always been well served when I've been in and the rotating beers always been interesting. Excellent pub. Tonight there were a few regulars around the bar.

Black beer with acrid bitter burnt malt flavour. The 5% shows itself as a buzz on the tonge after swallowing. The burnt bitter finsh lasts. Excellent stuff.

I think this is a great pub. The landlord obviously cares about his beer and the atmosphere is relaxed. The local ladies darts team was in so it was quite a busy night.

Ruby brown beer with a sweet-bitter start and a slightly toasted malt finish. A good session bitter well served.

I like this pub. It was quiet with a few people sitting around the bar talking about the forthcoming Planet Thanet Beer Festival.

Took me a while to work out there were no hops in this. Slightly sour black beer with an oily sheen to it. Subtle burnt malt on the finish.

Only 2 other people in who were both standing at the bar watching the football on the TV. I like this pub. It's friendly and comfortable.

Busy with a local ladies dart team in. Friendly pub with a cosy locals feel to it.

Lots of grape juice, orange and orange peel with a grapefruit hop finish.
A small L-shaped pub with a good locals' feel. Found up a side road, Trinity Place, not far from the centre of town. A lease taken by Eddie Gadd of Ramsgate Brewery (Gadds') in Summer 2014 from the private owner and he took over occupancy in September of that year. Local CAMRA branch Traditional Pub of the Year 2019 and 2020. Freehold purchased by Ramsgate Brewery in mid 2025.
We have visited this pub 195 times, seen 157 different beers and tried 125 of them.
