BlairExcellent10 Mar 2008 Dark brown red body with quick light tan bubbles. Coffee and roasted malt flavour. Full body has slight bitter finish. Not unpleasant, quite nice.
AndrewExcellent07 Jun 2007 Black beer with acrid bitter burnt malt flavour. The 5% shows itself as a buzz on the tonge after swallowing. The burnt bitter finsh lasts. Excellent stuff.

The Chambers, Folkestone, Kent

IanExcellent22 Jun 2006 Black beer with bubbly lasting beige head. Choc aroma with some sourness. Velvet choc in mouth with liquorice sourness on finish. Choc does dominate but the sourness balances it. Almost Pontefract cake-like on end. An interesting stout with good intensity and definition of flavours
