26 May 2012 (Stephen Harris)
A pleasant, multi-roomed pub with a pleasing line-up of local beers. But, mindful of Philip Pirrip’s less than gushing reviews, I cautiously ordered a couple of halves. Just as well they were not full pints, as beer condition was very disappointing.
Full Moon - Hopdance | 3.90 | | Pale and citrus-hoppy, but warm and a bit flat. |
Long Man - Best Bitter | 4.00 | | Copper-coloured, warm and a bit sour. |

Last knockings for me but still new customers arriving as sounded as if some live music was on here.

17 May 2012 (Philip Pirrip)
Have walked by many a time - always loud music emanating. Was tempted this time as Long Man Brewery beers were being touted.
Long Man - Long Blonde | 3.80 | | Refreshing but still not fully conditioned |
Long Man - Best Bitter | 4.00 | | As sour as old Harry. Exchanged for another choice without ado, pump clip turned round, pipes pulled through and a new cask placed. |
Dark Star - American Pale Ale (some has also been brewed by Fuller's) | 4.70 | Not Tried
Dark Star - Golden Gate | 4.50 | Not Tried
Arundel - Stronghold | 4.70 | Not Tried
Heritage (formerly William Worthington Brewery) - E | 4.80 | Not Tried | Who, what, where, how, why is this brewed? |
