Mid evening - four others in, friendly.
The landlord has reinstated the mirror that has an etched image of Canterbury Cathedral that I remember from about 40 years ago.
Nice - but my memory had it as much, much bigger!

Sat on the rear yard-garden. You could hear the birds in the trees on the otherside of the railway tracks. Very nice.

Braved the rain for a pre Christmas / Winter Solstice crawl around town. Here with Pete and his daughter Beth and my daughter Fennel. Pub No1 at about 12:45, we were the only customers for a while.
Goacher's - 1066 Old Ale | 6.70 | | Made a bold (i.e.stupid) move and started the day with this. Was superb though, dark and spicy and warming. |
