Post-shopping visit and rather quiet in here tonight. I seem to have failed to write up a couple of recent visits.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Northern Monk - Faith5.10ExcellentI thought this was really good and stuck with it. A golden beer, probably in the style of a US Pale Ale. Not sharp at all, but smooth and fruity with peach and apricot tastes.

Mid-evening. Wednesday is LP night here and I’m just in time to listen to Wishbone Ash’s classic ‘Argus’ album.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Tap East - IPA6.00ExcellentStill a favourite of mine.
Vocation - Pride & Joy5.30ExcellentA ‘limited edition’ special version of this beer, single-hopped with Mozaic. Sharply-fruity hop tastes. No wonder there has been a shortage of Mozaic hops – they are all in here.
Oakham - Bird Brain4.10ExcellentAnother deliciously pale and hoppy beer.

Early evening visit, the bar well-populated at this time.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Tap East - Tri-State5.80ExcellentA generously-hopped red/brown beer.
Budvar - B: Dark Cherry4.50GoodOn keg dispense. My last beer of the year and one I’d been eyeing up over several visits. Very dark brown with a reddish tinge. Very strongly cherry flavoured on a solid malt background. Morello-type cherries. Nice.
Ghost - Kylo4.40AcceptableAn Earl Grey and vanilla flavoured Porter. Black, with a tan head. The expected tastes are there, but I found it dominated by a very bitter finish and a bit lacking in body.

Late afternoon. There is a frantic frenzy of post-Christmas panic-shopping going on just inches away, but it is relative calm in here. Chance meeting with Dave from Peterborough who passes through briefly.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Oakham - Citra4.20ExcellentYummy, and rather more balanced that the Brodies Citra I drank yesterday.
Tap East - IPA6.00ExcellentI’m quite a fan of this beer.

Busy Friday evening session.
BeerABVScoreNotes

Tap East - Cherry Porter6.00Excellent
London Brewing Co. - Extra! Extra!4.10ExcellentVery pleasant, sharp and crisp Pale Ale.

BeerABVScoreNotes
Tap East - Tonic Ale3.00ExcellentLemony/citrus refresher.
