One of my favourite pubs in Ramsgate, attracts clientele of all ages and is spacious, quiet, unpretentious and comfortable, with views overlooking the nearby ferry terminal. There was a good selection of other beers on but I never made note of them unfortunately..
Dark Star - Hophead was 3.8% (some has also been brewed by Fuller's) | 3.40 | | My eyes lit up when I saw this and it didn't disappoint, hoppy, zesty refreshing pint with citrus aftertast, and served up in perfect condition. I had to have another couple just to make sure! |

West Berkshire - Good Old (or Ordinary) Boy | 4.00 | | Didn't seem in great nick. Malty and a bit biscuity but had no body to it. |

A DJ was playing in here tonight, they seem to be trying different things to bring in the customers but I'm not sure this attempt worked. Not a fan of the new permanent Greene King IPA tap either.

First visit to Churchill's since my return and it was good to be back. It's changed a little since I was last here, it's all a little posher with candles on the tables etc.

Skinner's - Best Bitter | 3.70 | | A really good best bitter. Light, malty and very refreshing. |

A couple of people were in at the bar but other than that it was quiet.
Rooster's - Good Cheer | 3.70 | | I've not had this before so I don't know if it's supposed to taste like this or if it was on the turn but the apple-citric nature of it put me right off. |
