Mid-evening visit. I had a need to come here to, um, return an, er, ‘library’ book, um, ‘borrowed’ last time I was here. I’m just too honest. A very nice pub.

Evening. First day of a weekend London Brewers Easter Ale Festival - all at £3.50 pp with 50p off for CAMRA card holding members. 8 handpumps and a two tier rack of gravity stillages. Gravity stillage closed just before midnight. Ladies behind the bar were working like a team of happy Trojans.

Evening visit prompted by Mr Harris's visit details for yesterday. The pub is preparing for its London Brewers Easter Ale Festival (Friday to Monday) and a large number of gravity casks have already been set up on stillage in the main bar to tempt and whet appetites but not yet on sale. I liked the nooks and crannies and perhaps gothic feel of some decorations.
