Evening. Superb new Micropub and tonight's cloud-ridden sunset was both spectacular and made it difficult to delimit the sky from the sea. Chatty, friendly Guv whose tales seemed to me to be really re-living his days as a teenage "scally" working on the rides in Dreamland.

Read on facebook about 3 great ales that were on. Unfortunately all 3 had gone and replaced by 3.6%ers that werent what we were after so we moved on. Also serving real ale in plastic glasses because of soul music day. Sad.

A good micropub in a prime position. I had a good chap with the owner who told me that he used to be a brakeman on the scenic railway and that his Grandfather once owned the helter skelter at Dreamland.

First time being inside. Well it was raining outside. Boring selection. First time I have ever paid for one of Robins beers! Big crowd in. Landlord seems to be well known and popular.
