Sunday afternoon, and too late to visit the Rifle, so we decided to enjoy the splendid selection of beers here. It was so good that we missed a few trains home.
BeerABVScoreNotes
Kent - Pale4.00ExcellentI am tempted to give this five stars. The gossip in the pub was that this beer had gone through an iffy period, but this beer was spot on, and the doubters agreed with me after trying some. The beer then ran out, and I had the last one which was only slightly less good than the previous pint. I was about to change to Alton's Pride when a new cask of Pale was put on, and wow, this was fantastic.
Tonbridge - Coppernob3.80GoodPerhaps a little metallic, maybe I should have started on this, and then moved up the ABVs.
